Google Nexus 6,Nexus 9, Nexus Player With Android 5.0 Lollipop Unveiled ...here we go

Google Nexus Player console, voice-activated remote,Gamepad for Nexus Player (sold separately)

Google on Wednesday ramped up its mobile arsenal, upgrading its Nexus line with a new tablet and smartphone, and unveiling its revamped Android software, to be dubbed "Lollipop."

The US tech giant also announced the launch of a streaming media player for music, movies and videos, which can also allow users to play games via the Android TV device.

"Lollipop" or Android 5.0, the upgraded operating system for mobile, "is designed to be flexible, to work on all your devices and to be customized for you the way you see fit," said Google vice president Sundar Pichai, who heads the Android operations.

With the new operating system, according to the Android Website, "The songs, photos, apps, and even recent searches from one of your Android devices can be immediately enjoyed across all of your Android devices."

The new devices give Google and its Android partners a broader portfolio to compete against Apple, which launched two upgraded large-screen iPhones last month and is expected to unveil new iPads on Thursday.

The Nexus 6 smartphone becomes the newest and largest of the Google-branded handsets, and is produced by Motorola, which Google bought in 2012 and is in the process of selling to China's Lenovo.

This aluminum frame device has a six-inch high resolution screen and a 13-megapixel camera.

"The large screen is complemented by dual front-facing stereo speakers that deliver high-fidelity sound, making it as great for movies and gaming as it is for doing work," Google said in a statement.

"It also comes with a Turbo Charger, so you can get up to six hours of use with only 15 minutes of charge."

On the tablet front, Google partnered with Taiwan-based HTC for the 8.9-inch Nexus 9.

The brushed-metal tablet "is small enough to easily carry around in one hand, yet big enough to work on," Google said.

"And since more and more people want to have the same simple experience they have on their tablets when they have to do real work, we designed a keyboard folio that magnetically attaches to the Nexus 9, folds into two different angles and rests securely on your lap like a laptop."

Google did not disclose pricing for the devices, but said they would be available for pre-order later this month.

The media player will deliver video apps to a television screen for consumers looking to supplement or go without cable or satellite.

Some of the apps included on the player are Netflix, Hulu Plus, the Food Network, Pandora and The Huffington Post.

Yamaha YZF-R25 unveiled

Yamaha has unveiled their long awaited YZF-R25 in Indonesia today. It will be released in the Indonesian market by July 2014. The bike is powered by a brand new two-cylinder four-stroke 250cc liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 36PS@12000rpm and 22.6Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. It runs a six-speed gearbox. The R25 weighs in at 166kg, which isn’t too heavy but not featherlight either. The bike will be be priced at around 53 million Indonesian Rupiah (approx: Rs. 2.7-2.8 lakh).

The bike comes with an all new high-compression (11.6:1) engine which uses Yamaha’s unique DiASil (Die casting Aluminum-Silicon) cylinders for excellent heat dissipation and lighter weight. This is also, the first time Yamaha has implemented this technology in a two-cylinder engined motorcycle. The bike uses a steel frame and has a front suspension with 41mm inner tubes; making it one of the largest in its class (only the RC 390 with its 43mm inner tube is larger). The rear monocross suspension contributes to mass centralisation. The bike also gets a mid-ship end can which helps keep its weight distribution at a perfect 50:50.

YZF-R25 1
The superbike you can ride every day

The R25 borrows some design cues from its bigger R1 and R6 siblings such as the reverse-slant twin headlights and the pilot light in between provide for a sharper look. An air duct in-between the lamps is reminiscent of the M1 MotoGP race bike and it has shift indicator identical to that which is found in the YZF-R1.

Yamaha has used the concept ‘superbike you can ride every day’ while designing the bike. They claim that the bike is very comfortable to ride on a daily basis. Like the current R15 it should offer comfy but involving ergonomics. In Indonesia, the R25 is available in three colors; Racing Blue, Black Predator, and Diablo Red. Yamaha is targeting 12,000 sales in the first full year of sales in Indonesia alone.

The Yamaha YZF-R25 will meet stiff competition from the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KTM RC 390. The Ninja 300 produces 39PS but also weighs six kilos more. Nevertheless, it ups the R25 with a better power-to-weight ratio of 226PS/tonne as compared to the Yamaha’s 216PS/tonne. The RC 390 on the other hand, produces more power and weighs less than both (43PS and 154kg). It has a power-to-weight ratio of 279PS/tonne. While the RC is a single-cylinder, it is expected to undercut both its rivals when it comes to price.

Huawei Ascend P7 With an 8MP Front-Facing , 13 MP Rear Camera & 5 inch Hd display

Here’s good news for smartphone lovers. Huawei has at last announced the arrival of the successor to last year’s Ascend P6, Ascend P7. Yes, the wait is finally over and though it comes with an equally exceptional price tag, it has created the desired buzz in the market and people are enthusiastic about its features. It features high-end connectivity all of which is packed into its 6.5 mm size.
According to its website and press release, it is supposedly the most slender smartphone in the 4G category in the world. Much research and aesthetic input have gone into the making of this smartphone and the end result is very satisfying for the company. Huawei Ascend P7 has been designed keeping in mind the arches and twists of dewdrops, which gives the phone a fresh natural feel and also helps in the grip of the phone. The phone has a 5 inch HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core Huawei Kirin 910T processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The handset has an 8 MP rear camera which has been designed for the younger selfie-conscious crowd.
The vice president of the company had also revealed that it took months of massive design refinement to get the finest balance of both function and shape. Users can even take panoramic self shots of themselves with the built-in software. The camera features up to 10 levels of automatic facial enhancement. The camera is the best part of the phone. Taking into consideration it's a 4G phone used primarily for video calls and the like, it's the safest bet. The device costs around 449 Euros, which is Rs 38,000 and will be available in stores from May.
