Lamborghini released Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse_new developed monster

Lamborghini recently launched a new department to handle the company’s motorsport activities – the Squadra Corse. The department has now gone ahead and unveiled the  Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse.

The Gallardo Squadra Corse comes straight from its racing sibling, the Gallardo Super Trofeo. In fact the Squadra Corse gets quite a few elements from the Super Trofeo competition version.
The engine is a V10 that is capable of pumping an enormous 578PS, and mated to an e-gear six-speed transmission with paddleshifts. The chassis used is that of a standard LP 570-4 which makes the Corse a 4WD. The Corse can do a 0-100 dash in 3.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of 322kmph. The car weighs 1340kgs, which is lighter than its sibling because of the use of lightweight elements like Aluminum and carbon fibre. The competition roots give it carbon fiber components, a quick-release engine cover, a prominent rear wing, gloss black accents and tri-color stripes.

On the inside, the Squadro Corse gets carbonfibre across the seats, middle console, door panels, part of the steering wheel, glove box, the door handles and panel trim. Comfort seats and racing seats come as available options.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will make its public appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.
